10/18: So far it looks like the weather is going to hold for us. If there is a dramatic change, please check back -- I will make a call on the schedule at 6am Saturday morning.

This event is designed to be modular so if you can't spend the whole day you can meet the group at a point that interests you. (This is why the itinerary is so detailed.)

GENERAL ITINERARY

7:45 Meet at the Waterbury commuter lot, Exit 23 (Rt 69)

8:00 Depart for Croton Gorge Park

9:00 Approximate arrival http://parks.westchestergov.com/croton-gorge-park

10:30 Leave for Bear Mountain

11:15 Approximate Arrival http://www.palisadesparksconservancy.org/parks/5/

We’ll do some shots from the peak and then from one of the ridges, similar to last year.

12:15 Depart -- Group splits between Bannerman and Hudson

4:15 The group reconnects at Beacon’s Waterfront Park (Right next to the boat dock)

At this point we’ll get a feel for who wants to stay for sunset and who is done for the day.

Those who still want to shoot, we’ll kill a little time up at Beacon Falls just a few minutes away and then come back to the park for sunset shots on the river.

Travel back via I-84.

The itinerary is timed to get you there by 1:00 as stated on the tickets. There are picnic tables around so you can hang out and eat.

You can hike the grounds or there is a tram (included in the admission price) that you can get on and off at various spots.
