Anyone up for a run Saturday??  Please let me know how far you want to run and if you need to start a little earlier? We will happily run loops to allow for different distances.  If you need farther than 10, please post and coordinate.

Please RSVP so the group can coordinate.

Happy running!!

My twisted ankle that I hurt hiking will keep me out for another week. Enjoy the run!

Missing you guys! I cannot wait to run with you again soon. I really will have a schedule up soon for the fall/winter training schedule.

It's tough to answer that because slow is relative. There are runners in the group that have varying speeds. Some of the faster folks do speed training during the weekday runs. The weekend run tends to be longer and slower. Even "longer" is relative because we normally do loops that bring us back by the cars at various points so folks can pick their own distance. For example, we might run multiple loops that total up to 11 miles. However, someone that doesn't want that many miles can stop one of the times we loop by the cars and get in a shorter distance. We do a "run/walk/run" interval run so the main group normally averages 12 min/mile or more but can adjust easily for the folks that are there that day to go faster or slower. We sometimes break into two groups if some want to go a bit faster but, as mentioned, the focus for the weekend is just getting in the distance you want vs pushing for a faster training time. Sort of a "wishy washy" answer. Sorry.

I would like to start running with a group soon but my pace is slow right now because I took a long break. Any other slower runners in this group?
