Detroit Free Press Half Marathon or Marathon

Hello all...we had over 20 runners at last year's race and it looks even bigger this year, judging by the number of people who have already registered...

Entrance fees are really cheap until January 6th...i just signed up for the International Half for just $50.

Have just reserved two rooms with two queen sized beds in the Detroit Downtown Holiday Inn Express...right near the start of the race...so feel free to crash with us the night before...sleeping bags are welcome...

We'll be hanging out Saturday and Sunday in Detroit...should be a great time...

We'll be carpooling...see the usual suspects before the race...

Things to remember:

1. To run in the International Half or the Marathon...you need an Enhanced Drivers License or a Passport to register and pick up your packet.

2. Packet pick up happens only on the day before (Saturday) at the expo at Cobo Hall...no morning registration for this race...
