AMA Triumph Superbike Classic - Birmingham

If you have never been to Bsrber Motorsports Park, this is a must see for any motorcycle enthusiast. June 22-24 is race weekend and they usually have 4 classes. The best motorcycle museum i have ever seen is located at the park right next to the beautifully manicured 2.38 mile road track. Friday is time trials so I am proposing we take an easy ride down Friday afternoon, check
into the hotel and scout the track for best vantage points to view the race
while seeing a few riders qualify. Bikes get to park along the drive around the track in most places and there are continuous trams running every day if you want to check out another part of the track or grab something to eat. Hotels really close to the track are booked so looking to stay a few miles away to find a descent area at a good price. The final race ends Sunday afternoon so it would be an I-65 scoot back home that afternoon with maybe a dinner/gas stop along the way. Ticket info for races is at http://barbermotorsports.com/park/
