Bring a pair of old jeans and let’s see how much we can make using them and some other old materials. Just some of the ideas include:

A summer skirt

An apron

Denim lunch bag

Soft denim bowl

Earrings

Denim beads

Fabric flower pin

Patriotic wreath

Pillow

Plus lots more ideas!

There is no fee for this workshop if you are bringing your own materials. We will have some basic supplies for sale here if you need. Make one item or as many as you'd like. We will be posting "sample" photos to show you some ideas. Feel free to share some of your ideas too.

Materials Needed for the skirt:

*Pair of jeans that fit around your waist or the waist of the person for whom you are making the skirt.

*Fabric for the bottom of the skirt. You can use an old skirt or dress, a tablecloth, a sheet, an extra large tee shirt or two, or any fabric of your choice in the amount to give you the desired length. (call us if you need help making the calculations)

Materials Needed for the apron:

*Leg or back pocket area from a pair of jeans.

*Bias binding for trim and ties

*Optional fabric for ruffle and/or ties and trim

Materials Needed for lunch bag:

*Optional lining material

*Large button

*Elastic cording
