Midlands Plus is a network of social groups across the Midlands. We are part of a nationwide social & activities organisation. We organise weekly meet ups and weekend events in and around Birmingham, giving our members a chance to meet new people, make friends and create jam-packed social calenders! Our groups are open to 18-35yr olds and open to singles and couples. New members are always welcome!
We have local groups based in Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Solihull which meet up weekly. Each of these groups organise events so there's plenty to choose from and something to suit everyone!
Events can include anything from pub & club nights, quizzes, kareoke, bowling, cinema, go-karting, theme parks, walks, day trips, camping, BBQs, weekends away and holidays abroad. As a potential new member, you can join in with any of the local events or weekly meetups for a month to see if we're the group for you. We encourage new members to link up with your local group - either Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield or Solihull and attend the weekly meetups as well as weekend events. If after a month you are enjoying, we will then ask you to become a full member of the organisation which is a nominal £25 a year and you can continue to attend as many events as you like. We are a non-profit group, this just covers insurance and legal stuff. All our events are run voluntarily by our members. When you are a full member, you can then attend national events with other groups across the country. We have approx 30 members in each group so don't worry if there's only one or two people who RSVP, they're just the Meetup members. There's plenty more people at events!
