Dinner after work? Why not!

Sometimes when I'm at work, 3p rolls around and I realize I'd really like to go to a restaurant for dinner because there's nothing interesting in my fridge, or some delicious flash of food which I don't cook strikes my mind. In those moments, I'd love to go exploring Milwaukee restaurants but I often get blocked because I don't enjoy dining alone and can't always find company.

I'm looking for people in this group that have a similar schedule to me and whose work location puts us in a compatible part of the city at quitting time that we might be able to form impromptu plans for weekday dinner out every now and then. (I get the urge about once a month. Tonight, Mexican was calling to me and El Farol sounded interesting.)

I get off of work at 5p. (and I'm willing to wait around for a half hour if yours is different)

I work downtown-ish and my commute takes me to Riverwest, so anything downtown, Third Ward, National Ave, near south side, Bay View, east side, or Riverwest would make a good meeting spot. I'd even be willing to try some spots in West Allis (I love the Peruvian restaurant.)

I'm an introvert but am not a bore if you're not a bore. We'll hopefully have a good time.

Let me know if you're interested and we'll swap email addresses, or I suppose we could message through meetup (but I'd be more likely to miss those messages since they go to my bulk folder.)

To appealing food and interesting dining explorations!
