Create a Mobile App with WordPress

Lisa Sabin-Wilson of WebDev Studios will be joining us to discuss how you can easily create a native iOS or Android app for the iOS App Store or Google Play Store using WordPress.

Design your app and customize it the same way you build a normal WordPress site. No objective C, Java or SDK knowledge necessary.  Use the AppPresser plugins and themes to make WordPress look and behave like a native app. Use sliding panels, menus, and tap into native device hardware.  Submit your app to the iOS App Store, Google Play, and more. People all over the world can download (or purchase) your app!

The power of building native mobile apps is now in your hands - with WordPress + AppPresser.

A big thanks goes out, once again to C2 Graphic Productivity Solutions, who will be hosting our Meetup.  C2 is a staffing and training firm and consists of some pretty awesome people.  They even have classes and jobs working with WordPress, so be sure to talk to Erica when you see her!

My office has a permanent part time position for a word press developer/instructor to run word press workshops for attorneys in doing communications through word press. The instructor would also be able to use our space to for their own classes advertise and teach other classes to attorneys. The job is 20-30 hours a week the first week to do the prep work and 10 hours a week after that. The start-up hours will be two or three full days asap to do the materials and prep, and 1 to 6:30 pm permanently after that . We anticipate the instructor will be paid per an hour per student, with a minimum guaranteed rate. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a niche practice consulting with law firms and supporting them on word press. We will also be doing a book project. If anyone is interested, please call me at[masked] or email me at [masked].

I was expecting more of a how-to, than an introduction to AppPresser.

Is there an accompanying slide deck to the presentation? Would love to see it since I wasn't able to attend. Thanks!

Sorry. By the time I realized that was accepted off of the wait list, I had made other plans.

Where is a good place to park? I'm from Appleton and don't know the area.

Also if anyone would like to meet for dinner ahead of time, let me know at[masked]

There is a garage around the corner, on Chicago and Water. It does connect to the building as well, but if you don't know the path, it may be a bit confusing. For a one time visit, it's probably easier to just go around and enter through the front if you park in the garage.

Be sure to update your RSVP if you can't make it tonight. This will make room on the waitlist for those who are on standby.
