St Patrick's Day Puppy Party - Docile Doggies

St Patrick's Day Puppy Party - Docile Doggies

Details

Hey Hey Party Peeps,
Leaping Leprechauns, I'm feeling Irish! I even remarked that it was a nice, sunny day outside today, at which point Flynnagin looked up at me and casually remarked, "T'is." Then he put down his book about Frank McCourt's childhood and tried to convince me to drive him to the pub for some green beer. It was too hard to be dumbfounded, because with a speaking, newly literate, and apparently Irish dog who suddenly decided he now likes alcohol on my hands, where could I even begin??? So, I distracted him with a cookie and a Disney DVD and I haven't heard anything since. However, I know it will come up again very soon, and when it does, I will need a better arsenal of distractions, and I thought a Mini-Mutts Playgroup would be JUST what the leprechaun ordered! So....Let's get together and celebrate with the St. Patrick's Day Puppy Party!!!

Notes:

  • This party is for Docile Doggies only. This means an energy level of 1-5 (out of 10) is a requirement. If your dog is too rowdy for this group, please see our other party, for the Rambunctious Rovers.

  • Please do not sign up for both groups unless you have multiple dogs who will attend both. Please note that you will need to pay the regular fees for each group, as you are using two RSVP's. Also remember to bring a kennel to keep your doggie in while he or she is waiting for his or her turn to play in the appropriate group, as opposed to leaving anyone in the car.

  • Because we have two groups we run quite closely together, and because of our payment structure for the facility rental, we need to stay within the time-frame of 2:00 - 3:15. No Early-birds, please.

Our AARCS Charity Raffle is a go this month, with two soft sided kennels kindly donated by Nancy Malycky up for grabs. The tickets will be five bucks each, with each ticket having two chances to win. All proceeds will go toward our goal of sponsoring a kennel at the AARCS Safe Haven facility.

As usual, we will have our bright green Pound Rescue Food Bank / Donation Bin sitting at our gate. Any food, or new or gently used items are greatly appreciated!

The Ever Fabulous Susan will be offering her Ever Fabulous Five Dollar Nail Trims, so if your pooch's nails are looking more like talons, be sure to sign up at the front when you check in.

That’s all for now, folks!

Come One, Come Small, to the St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Party! (no pinching allowed) :)

Ps: I realize this is not the same day I had arranged for in our save the date email (sent out months and months ago), but I now have a foster who will potentially be getting adopted that day, and I’d prefer not to drown any of you while I bawl my face off! Happy tears, happy tears! http://img1.meetupstatic.com/614102232183174521616/img/smileys/wink.gif
