What sort of stories do you write? And if you have anything published, tell us about it (even if it's not SF.) We love to hear about all your successes.

It seems I don't think in blocks of less than 100,000 words. Have a completed first novel burning up my hard-drive. It's a ghost story, set in rural Iowa, that draws on local history, the Anglo-Saxon book of healing, Mormon mysticism, and, of course, a feral pig. Imagine Marilynne Robinson and Steven King writing a book together (although the only book I've ever read by King is Jerusalem's Lot.)

What brings you to the SF Writers Meetup? Is there anything that you hope the group will do for you?

I am very sociable and would like to talk to other like-minded folks. Would be very interested in hearing what other people are writing, or, more importantly, reading.

Have lived in Minnesota for the last 20 years. More or less from Canada. Promiscuous reader of history, fiction, theology, philosophy and science. I hold A Canticle for Leibowitz to be one of the finest, if most singular, novels ever written.
