Read & Discuss ... Locke & Key

At the last meeting, we selected two books which are modern gems of graphic novel/comic art and storytelling: Locke & Key volumes 1 - "Welcome to Lovecraft" and volume 2 - "Head Games".

Locke & Key is an American comic book series written by Joe Hill, illustrated by Gabriel Rodríguez and published by IDW Publishing. Complete now in a six volume series, which took five years to complete, Locke & Key tells of Keyhouse, an unlikely New England mansion, with fantastic doors that transform all who dare to walk through them, and home to a hate-filled and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all! Written by Hill and featuring astounding artwork from Gabriel Rodriguez, both of whom are tops in their respective crafts, this series proved true to it's hype and delivered a excellent story full of detail and fantastic wonders.
