October Topic – Xamarin Evolve Backstage Pass

Weren’t able to travel to Atlanta for the Xamarin Evolve conference? Come hear all about it as our intrepid mobile travelers tell tales of high tech cross platform mobile development from down south! Find out if RBA wins a Xammy for their Cinemark app. (It’s a finalist!)

Dan Lamppa, John Hunter, and Adam Zucchi will present on the best of the Xamarin Evolve Conference. They will highlight the new product announcements, relay what they learned in advanced training, and share the best of the sessions that they attended.

Presented By Dan Lamppa

Dan is the Mobile Tech Lead at RBA. Dan has developed software professionally for 20 years, but his love of computers started long before that. He has worked on websites, web services, desktop applications, and mobile apps from the UI to the business layer to data storage layer. He worked on his first mobile project six years ago using Windows Mobile 6. He has been focused on mobile development ever since and has built many apps with Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android.

John Hunter

John has spent 25 years building software and has worked on numerous mobility projects with Fortune 500 clients. He is a long time Xamarin/Mono user and co-author of Professional Cross-Platform Mobile Development in C# (http://smile.amazon.com/Professional-Cross-Platform-Mobile-Development-C/dp/1118157702/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412607297&sr=8-1&keywords=professional+cross-platform+mobile+development+in+c).

Adam Zucchi

Adam is an application developer consultant working in the Twin Cities. He spent his first four years in Minneapolis working at a creative agency called Popular Front as an interactive developer. Since then he has been doing contract work for a variety of companies, many of which are in the healthcare space. He is also part owner of the Green Bay Packers.
