Join us for a Massive Minnesota OpenStack Meetup! We are lucky enough to be joined by 5 OpenStack veterans who will each be sharing a presentation designed to help you understand OpenStack in it's various forms. If you're someone familiar with VMware Enterprise Virtualization, this is the Meetup you will want attend, as we have some presentations focused on the differences and integration points between OpenStack and VMware. In addition, the OpenStack Community is developing training and certification, and we'll have one of the core team members from this effort on hand to go over this.
The rough agenda for the evening is:
• 4:00-4:15: Introductions and mingling
• 4:15-5:00: Theron Conrey (https://twitter.com/theronconrey) currently turning wrenches at TDS will be presenting on the differences between an Elastic Cloud Platform and an Enterprise Virtualization system.
• 5:00-5:45: Ken Hui (https://twitter.com/hui_kenneth) from Rackspace will be giving his presentation on VMware and OpenStack titled: "Cattle Wrangling For Pet Whisperers: Building An OpenStack Cloud with vSphere."
• 5:45-6:30: Colin McNamara (https://twitter.com/colinmcnamara) from Nexus IS and a core member of the OpenStrack Training project will be presenting on OpenStack Training and Certification.
There should be something for everyone at this Meetup, and we're hoping to see everyone in attendance!
Note: Due to the expected high level of attendance, please make sure to accurately RSVP for this event. The location of this Meetup may change depending on space requirements as well.
