Minnesota OpenStack: Part 2

Keeping the momentum rolling, I'll be giving a talk on OpenStack Quantum, which handles networking in OpenStack. I'll also talk a bit about Open vSwitch, an open virtual switch, and Ryu, a network operating system. I'll show a demo of all of these technologies running together and how you can use them to create a scalable, multi-tenant OpenStack installation using pure open source technologies.

After the presentation, we'll dive back into devstack and make sure everyone is up and running with that. Please bring a laptop with some form of virtualization software, and ideally an Ubuntu 12.04 or Fedora 17 virtual machine to use with devstack.

Drinks, pizza, and wifi provided for all attendees!

NOTE: For those not able to attend in person, we will be dialing into a WebEx meeting and sharing slides and audio this way as well. The WebEx details are below.

Great Presentation. The demo went a little fast. I would love to replicate that in my lab if there are instructions on how to set it up with ryu?

Eric, the best place to see how to do this is at the Ryu site, they even have pre-assembled VM images with OpenStack Folsom: https://github.com/osr...
