Announcing a new Meetup for Minnesota Atheists Meetup Group!
What: Flying Spaghetti Monster Dinner, Sunday, August 29, 6 p.m., Minneapolis

For years we have had a fundraising meal on every 5th Sunday of the month. For the last couple of years, this has been a spaghetti dinner, during which we pay tribute to His Noodly Appendages. (If you're scratching your head right now, it means you've yet to meet a Pastafarian. Fear not, this web site will explain it all: http://www.venganza.org/)
This month, as we are competing with the State Fair, we were unable to find an adequate location. To keep our tradition alive, we will gather for dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Minneapolis, just off Washington Avenue near the Metrodome. Everyone will order off the menu, allowing each of us to worship in our own way. For a preview, click on the link below:

If the spirit of the Flying Spaghetti Monster moves you, donations to our radio fund will be gratefully accepted during the dinner.
We?ll gather in the lobby (and bar) at 6:00, and ask for a seating at 6:30. If you're late, just ask for the Minnesota Atheists party.
Please reply with your RSVP indicating the number in your group. We will need a count when requesting our seating.
