About us
The Meetup's 3500+ members represent a wide range of ages and skiing/snowboarding abilities. Both singles and couples are welcome. We have both events and trips - the perfect opportunity to meet new friends!
The club is based in New York City, with members from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Long Island, New Jersey, and many other places all around the NY Metropolitan area.
I also use this group to let you know about events run by the Miramar Ski Club, which I am a member of. Joining this group and joining that club are not the same thing. It is a non-profit club, and I don't make any money off of your trips. I do, however, get the opportunity to share my love of skiing (and I am accepting of snowboarders!) with others who share this interest.

RSVP'ing here is just a way of telling other meetup group members that you plan to attend an event, but in the case of trips, you must contact the Event Leader to formally register.

Botanical Garden Discovery Walk with Miramar Ski Club

Snug Harbor Botanical Garden in Staten Island!
Easy access by ferry, local bus; or car with plenty free parking!After walking through the garden, we will continue on to
a nearby woods for an extended walk of about a mile.
Then, we will conclude the outing by having food & beverages

SnowBall 2026 with Miramar Ski Club
Players Club, 16 Gramercy Park South, New York, NY, USLet's celebrate the Miramar Ski Club and another great winter season. Join us on May 15, 2026 for Miramar’s annual end-of-season celebration!
Miramar is an incredible club with a long history, and we found a venue with even more history than us! SnowBall will be held this year at The Players, a private social club founded in by the 19th-century Shakespearean actor Edwin Booth. The club is located in a mansion built in 1847, located at 16 Gramercy Park.
SnowBall is a chance for members and guests to get together and share stories of epic powder runs, heart-pounding steeps, or favorite memories in the lodge or the ski lift. We are so fortunate to have so many great moments to share.
This is a great opportunity to plan for upcoming events at the lodge and elsewhere during our “off-season.” And I’m sure there will be plenty of chatter about next year’s BIG trip too!
Our event will start with a beer & wine hour followed by a buffet dinner. And yes there will be music and dancing!
This is an elegant venue so leave the ski helmets and goggles at home.
Dress cool and fancy!- 7-8pm: wine, beer, and soda (cash bar available for liquor)
- 8-9pm: dinner (buffet style), wine/beer/soda available (cash bar available for liquor)
- 9-11pm: tables moved to make space for the dance floor, run by the one and only DJ ArtLuv! Cash bar ONLY (wine, beer, and hard liquor available for purchase)
