Mobyus allows location-aware apps to promote and sell products that are relevant to a user's location and that are available for immediate purchase via download or dropship. Mobyus provides this using a data mash-up of event, venue, performer, and merchandise information obtained using APIs and combined using proprietary logic. Current fulfillment options include Apple's iTunes store and Amazon.com.
Foro, an iPhone app for browsing and searching nearby events, launches at South by Southwest 2012 on March 9th and incorporates Mobyus merchandise information.
