This Mobile Cafe we will look at the possibilities of the iBeacon, hear about how we can use mobile technology to influence behavior and attitudes of people and take a close look at the App Analytics tool Distimo with a Live demo and their year review of 2013 and the start of 2014 .

The iBeacon was briefly introduced at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2013, but what is it and what can we expect of it? Michel van Velde, founder of the advertising & digital agency One Shoe, will give an introduction of this new technology.

We will take a look at how it works, look at how bluetooth marketing has evolved and talk about the possibilities of the iBeacon.

Behavior design, an emerging field driven by mobile technologyMarco van Heerde - Somehow

How can we use technology to influence behavior and attitudes of people? Marco van Heerde, strategist and co-founder Somehow digital innovation studio, will give an overview of this emerging field, the most exiting projects and dive into one of the scientific models underlying this field.

Disitimo App Analytics, a year review of 2013 and a live demo of the analytics toolTiuri van Agten - Distimo

Distimo, a Dutch app analytics firm, provides insights in terms of download and revenue volumes on app and country level and highlights what mattered most in the app stores. We will take a look at their findings of the Dutch app market in 2013.

After taking a look at the year review of 2013 we will have a live demonstration of the Distimo analytics tool. There will of course be plenty of room for in dept questions after and during the demonstration.

For those who are interested in giving a presentation or start a discussion about a mobile related subject, we offer an open space/podium.
