With Android Wear watches already in the market and Apple Watch on the horizon, businesses and developers are scrambling to try to figure out how watches and other wearables fit into their plans.

Taylor Hatmaker

Taylor Hatmaker is the Daily Dot's technology editor. She was previously a staff writer at ReadWrite and the senior editor of Tecca. She has a deep interest in the spaces where technology, culture and big ideas overlap. Taylor's work appears regularly on Yahoo! News and has been featured on Mashable, MSNBC, Today.com and in the print edition of USA Today, among others. Taylor graduated from New York University and now lives in Portland, Oregon. When not writing about tech, she samples well-hopped local beers, thinks about science and advocates for social justice in the LGBT community.

Brent Hieggelke

Brent Hieggelke is the CMO of Urban Airship (http://urbanairship.com), which enables the world's top brands to earn and maintain a presence on their customers' mobile devices through mobile relationship management solutions. Previously, he spent a decade helping brands optimize digital marketing initiatives in executive marketing posts at WebTrends, TouchClarity and Omniture. Most recently, Brent started and ran Second Porch, the first Facebook-integrated social vacation rental site sold to HomeAway, Inc. in May 2011. Early in his career, Brent co-founded New City, a media company in Chicago. Brent has received multiple marketing awards, is a frequent speaker at both marketing and digital conferences and is a member of the Mobile Marketing Association’s North America board and the International Executive Council of the Internet Marketing Association.

Josh Marinacci

Josh Marinacci is an engineer, author, speaker, designer, and general UI wrangler. He has written books for O'Reilly Media, built IDEs, coded app stores, authored developer content, and prototyped an endless array of amusing interfaces. He is currently working as a researcher at Nokia. He previously traveled the world teaching webOS, JavaFX, Swing, and HTML canvas. He works from home in rainy but green Eugene, Oregon, with his wife and 3-year-old son.

Aaron Parecki

Aaron Parecki is CTO of Esri's Portland R&D Center (http://pdx.esri.com/), and the co-founder of IndieWebCamp (http://indiewebcamp.com/). He is known for having tracked his location at 5 second intervals since 2008, and for co-founding Geoloqi, a location-based software company acquired by Esri in 2012. His work has been featured in Wired, Fast Company and more. He was featured in Inc. Magazine's 30 Under 30 with Geoloqi co-founder Amber Case.
