Mobile Meetup London: Designing For Mobile

The London Mobile Meetup group will be meeting again at the end of September, for our Autumn event.

Having spoken of Augmented Reality and Mobile Ads, this time we will discuss the correct approach to  mobile design; "do's & don't's" of creating and integrating mobile websites, mobile applications and other graphic content for smartphones and tablets. While so many companies are bringing their brands to the new channel, being able to effectively designing for mobile becomes a required, yet still uncommon, skill.

To do a proper good job, you must pay attention to screens size, check interfaces-related problems, face devices fragmentation, be aware of average fingers size... you must know very well you target devices and their requirements, define the desired user experience and never forget the brand guidelines...

Confused already? Don't panic!

We'll have a professional guide to the mobile design galaxy: Russell Webb, creative director of Steely Eye Digital Media and active blogger, who will share with us his

" Ten Key Considerations When Designing for Mobile "

As usual, the speech will be around 10-15 minutes long plus Q&A, then we will have all the evening to meet new people, network with them and enjoy the FREE drinks offered by our  sponsor.

So, don't forget to share the event with your friends and colleagues, and save the event on your calendar.

Great environment and nice to talk with both people new/interested in mobile, experts and business stakeholders in the industry. Just leaving 4 out of 5 as I would love to see more technically focused meeting maybe for the future

Great information for companies looking to build mobile apps who are after some design considerations. Delivery was professional and fun. A more technical night would be of intrest to me, which I believe Steely eye give on a different night.
