Claes Worm on OCaml
Details
The talk is both about OCaml as a language and system, and about the application of the language in a project in the realm of interactive installations. OCaml has in this project been used both as a glue-like language between other applications, and partly as a creative tool for interpreting and acting on sensor-input.
The setup is designed for the Raspberry Pi, making use of OCaml's native code compiler for ARM. A minor binding to the SuperCollider server has been written, which is used to startup and control predefined synths on the synth server.
I would very much like to start a discussion on the potentials for OCaml in this kind of context compared with other languages, and also about the usage and choice of functional (and language specific) design-patterns and data-types for rapid prototyping and creative work.

MF#K regular meetup at Prosa
We have set up a collaboration with Prosa, who generously offered to provide a location for our regular meetups. Please see Prosa's Calendar for more details: Prosa Calendar (https://www.prosa.dk/kalender/hele-kalenderen/)
The ADA meeting room fits about 25 people and if we need more space, we can use the canteen, which has a capacity of +50.
