Play dates are a great way to break up the monotony for both children and adults. Play groups are also fun and they help children learn to socialize well with others, share, and take turns. Getting your child involved is a good way to help your child prepare for school by teaching them how to interact with others and make friends.
Mommy & Me is a welcoming environment to encourage new friendships. We have grown exponentially to include many wonderful moms and their kids. Whether a mom is at a picnic playdate, in the emergency room with her baby, or on the message board needing to 'vent' - we are always here for each other. What started as a playgroup, has become a family of friends that love to spend time together!
Your input & ideas will be essential in making events fun & fulfilling. This is YOUR group. Feel free to come w/any suggestions you might have, active participation is what keeps us going!
We will have many wonderful playdates and special experiences for you and your little ones to partake in; and will also offer a forum online where you can keep in touch with other moms...seek advice, share daily triumphs, trials, questions, rants, raves or ponderings.
We want to offer a safe haven for all of our members. Therefore, if you are not an established, active Meetup member w/a photo & profile, you will need to meet with one of our group organizers before your membership is approved. Annual dues are $8. You will have 2 wks to pay from the time you join.
Finally, You must HAVE FUN!!!
