IP Demystified: IP Basics for Startups

Details

Intellectual Property (IP) is one of your main business assets, but it is often poorly understood and badly managed.

There are many different types of IP, each of which protect your business in different ways.

To get value from your IP and minimise the risk of infringement, you need to understand how each type of IP works and manage your IP effectively.

We're pleased to host Claire Ramsay from Griffith Hack (http://www.griffithhack.com.au/) who will present a general overview of IP, help us understand the different types of IP, and address some common mistakes that startups make with respect to IP.
