Seth exited Switch2Health to Fitbit. In addition he exited PlasmaSol Corp to Stryker Corp and is now working with entrepreneurs VIA Yahoo labs. Join us as he tells us what he learned along the way!

Seth is an experienced entrepreneur and instrumental in initiating, launching, operating, and exiting several startup ventures. As founder & CEO of a social-based wellness platform (Switch2Health) using social influence and game mechanics to increase user engagement and impact user behavior towards lifestyle changes; Seth exited Switch2Health to a leading device and activity tracking company, Fitbit. Prior to Switch2Health, he was a founding partner of high-tech startup, PlasmaSol, acquired by Fortune 100 medical device maker Stryker Corp.
He also worked with several universities in various venture development roles to commercialize technology via licensing or startup ventures; and earlier in his career as an engineer and manager for AT&T Business Services and IBM Global Services.
Seth has twenty years experience in management of research, development, engineering and operations of technology organizations from concept to advanced product/service development through product support. Seth’s career includes government and commercial business development; strategic planning, intellectual property management, technology transfer, social media/networking, finance and capitalization.
He is active in several local and national organizations; advisor for operational and strategic planning for small and early-stage companies; and an invited speaker on subjects ranging from entrepreneurship to “doing business with the government”. He holds an Executive Masters of Technology Management degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and dual undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Applied Statistics from St. John’s University.
Seth is an advisor/mentor to the Lang Center for Entrepreneurship at Columbia University; advisor to the University City Science Center in Philadelphia; TechLaunch, TechX Foundry, NYC ASCENT, and others; and has held several Board positions to include Director of the New Jersey Technology Council; and Technical Advisory Board to NJ Economic Development Authority.

Parking - Parking for the Mansion is basically the same as for the library. Be prepared to walk a little bit. You will enjoy it the campus is beautiful. Park behind the library, across from of the dorms or in one of the larger (but further) lots. See the parking map below. Once you enter the Mansion make a right and we will be in Lenfell Hall at the end of the hall.
