A goal of this group is to get together with other NYC visual artists, network, and do it often.

While there are other groups which are dedicated to either maya or blender or after effects, etc... it seems that their meetups are few and far between and often involve sitting in front of a screen in a dark room watching one person present. Although events like this are a great way to learn new trick and or get inspiration, they provide very little in terms of making connections and meeting people. As soon as the presentation is over every one gets up and leaves.

The goal of this group is to get together at least twice a month on a more informal basis, in a place with lots of delicious beer, hang out and, have fun.
