What mountaineering skills interest you the most: rope travel, ice ax arrest, snow camping, trip planning, wilderness medicine, or crevasse rescue.

Have done all of the above and teach it the old fashion way, with minimum equipment: Twist Belay, Emergency harness, Duelfersitz rappel

Are you familiar with what you need in your backpack to be comfortable and self sufficient for a long day hike? Have you been on many long day hikes?

Yes, all my hikes are day+ hikes, as I am slow

Are you comfortable on steep snow and ice? How would you characterize your attitude toward being up high?

How likely is it that you can make it to the top of Mt Si with a 35 pound pack in 2.5 hours with one being very likely and five being very unlikely?

I rather go slower, and higher and take all day.

What would you like from this Meetup group?

Always good to find more partners to hike with, or see where other people go for new ideas
