Move Fast and Break Things #2

Details
Hey all, we have some awesome speakers lined up for the second meetup!
"We Built a Factory, not a Farm" - Peter van Hardenberg (@pvh (https://twitter.com/pvh)) from Heroku
Heroku Postgres manages about a million databases to their uptime goals with no ops team and still manages to ship new features on a regular basis. In this talk, Peter will cover some of the strategies Heroku have used for ensuring their systems are robust without making them unchangeable. He'll talk about things like outside-in management, preferring Bash to Chef or Puppet, factory vs. farm strategies, and treating databases like video game characters.
"Abnormally short release cycles" - Slava Akhmechet (@spakhm (https://twitter.com/spakhm)) from RethinkDB
Slava will cover RethinkDB's abnormally fast release process - how they use Github, code review, testing and deployment to make this happen.
Plan is; mix + eat pizza, talks and Q&A. Please invite your friends and co-workers.

Call for Speakers: We've got the next meetup set (though, still ironing out talk titles). If you'd like to talk at an upcoming meetup, we're interested in talks on what tooling you use or built, how deployment and developer workflow works at your company or startup. If you need a hand preparing a talk, reach out - I'm happy to help.
Rainforest QA (https://www.rainforestqa.com/?utm_source=meetup&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=move-fast-and-break-things) is sponsoring this meetup - we'll be providing beer and pizza for you all before the talks. The space for the meetup is kindly donated by Heavybit Industries - which if you've not been before is amazing!
