INTRODUCTORY GROUP LUNCH

Welcome members to the meetup group. I believe this meetup group is>two weeks young. We had an initial meetup planned as a dinner for Sunday June 2nd which I had to change as I had scheduled it on my wife's birthday. This is why you don't have a man running things we are not bright sometimes :). Anyway I am reposting Aqua Sol as it it a great outdoor dining experience with music so if the day is nice it should make for a nice atmosphere.

Now we have enough couples that have joined the group with. This group is really for people from the Newark/Wilmington, Delaware area to connect with and if you are adventorous like me you wish to make new friends, couple friends particularly if you are married, and friends that are different from yourself. We have our couple from Bryn Mawr which is close enough. They sound interesting and hopefully we will get to meet them and couples from Philadephia. So let's try this introductory thing again and see if we can get people to RSVP. A group can be perceived as a bunch of people but in this case if we can get two other couples plus myself and my wife we have a group. Please participate or RSVP and advise if you cannot make the venue posted it for whatever reason just so that I know I have a group of people that actually want to meet and get together and not people that have clicked to joint to find out what is going on in the area.

Aqua Sol

Overlooking the beautiful C & D Canal and Summit North Marina, Aqua Sol Restaurant and Bar serves up fresh and exciting Miami style dishes.

Food and service is supposed to be excellent. Menu is Latin South Beach. Voted best of Delaware outdoor dining three years in a row.

The plan would be to have lunch around 1 pm and then go onto the St. George's Blues Festival. I am not a fan of Blues but have listened to the music. It has a great vibe and lyrics. The festival looks like it has alot of music acts and vendors to offer.
