If you would like participate in mommy/baby meets or play dates, plus join up. Of course, everyone is welcome even if you don't speak a second language. 

Wouldn't it be nice to host a regular mommy and babies meet up while exposing your little one to the phonetics and grammer of other languages outside the one you speak at home?
They have language classes for babies but they cost up to $45 per class.
That got me thinking, I want my daughter to learn other languages besides English or at least have the affinity to learn it later on in life. 
We live in NYC, we all have friends of every ethnicity, language and culture. Let us all share what we know.
I would like to host meet ups at prearranged spaces or in our apartments and have activities for the kids that would require the instructor (different mommies or friends on different meets) to lead the activity in his/her second language. The activity doesn't have to be long (10 mins), just to get the tos listening to the language.

Therefore, if you happen to speak another language and would like to conduct a short activity for the group please let me know.
I'm also a science teacher so I can help brainstorm some ideas if anyone is at a lose.

I can speak chinese (Cantonese to be precise) so I got that one covered. Even if we can't get someone to teach the kiddies a novice language during a meet up, we can all just hang out and let our kids play together.
