Hi everyone,

We're glad to announce our next meetup!

This time, we're going to talk about Cassandra, and (the second one will be held as surprise!). So the speakers will be:

Franz Bettag from wasted.io with "Through the database jungle" talk

A BSD-enthusiastic Black Belt DevOp with Polyglot tendencies.

I have done paid projects in over 25 programming languages while being a Unix Sysop for over a decade.

His passion is everything FreeBSD and Scala/JVM, with a lot of security and scalability on top.

In 2012 i have been voted in as Liftweb Committer, being an active member of the community since 2009.

Currently works as Director of R&D at wasted.io Ltd.

Short Intro: What most developers and/or companies do wrong and how to do it right! I will dive into my daily consulting with clients about what database to use and how we solve their scalability needs. MySQL hatred as well as PostgreSQL/Redis/Cassandra love guaranteed. Fun for the whole family.

Thomas Bergwinkl with Universal Access Control (UAC) and LDApp

You can find more information about this speaker at:
