Big 'n' Horny @ The Rah Bar (Marakesh Booth Reserved)

This is another of a regular series of gigs we are running that lots of members would love to see but do not want to go on their own. So feel comfortable to come along and to bring friends. Our favourite dance group of the pre Meet Up Version of Music Roots and Style.

You can try to define them, but when their high energy 13 piece line up kicks in, the one thing you can’t do is ignore them. Big & Horny boasts musicians from some of Australia’s best known acts. And they pump out the hits from many of the world’s best.

Their unique blend of vocals, guitars, keyboards, percussion and of course horns, has seen them packing out Melbourne’s weekend venues for years and The Rah Bar has been their main gig for 3 years now.

If you can't get excited by a 5 piece band with 4 horns and 4 singers and guests...... last time it was Marsha Hines out of the crowd....... and if you like Joe Cocker you must hear leader Jeremy.

We have a private area available that can cope with 12 -30 people dependant on RSVP's. The band starts around 7.30 and do 2 sets finishing at 10.00. It is right next door to South Yarra Station and $10 at the door which goes to the band - good deal.
