Phil Para Band at The Espy

This is another of a regular series of gigs we are running that lots of members would love to see but do not want to go on their own. So feel comfortable to come along and to bring friends. More gigs to be announced soon (in the inner north and Willy as requested).

Phil Para has been doing this gig for eons with various line-ups. This is for the guitar lovers, blues lovers and it's very powerful and very very loud BUT I've taken dozens of people to this - from opera and ballet lovers, ukelele players to blues and jazz people - and every one has been astonished that this happens in our city every Saturday..... but then we all love the music they grew up with.

Phil and band are brilliant and play Hendrix, Clapton, Santana, Led Zepp, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Blues and usually finish up with a bit of Chuck Berry or Beatles when the young kids come in for their bands..... and the kids go off.

I's an early gig - Phil starts at 6.30 and does 2 sets finishing at 9.00 so we can go for a pizza or meal afterwards for those who want to go on.....or to another gig afterwards.

Great music, iconic venue in St Kilda with a fabulous friendly crowd of people who appreciate Music of our Roots. Oh and it's FREE!
