Well, what if we created our own "Family of Sister-Friends"? One with great, loving and caring people who we actually enjoyed spending time with? This Meet-up group is for those of us who (1) live far away from our families, or (2) who don't have (or want) a close relationship with our families...and/or, (3) who are just looking for a great group of girlfriends! This group is for “LADIES ONLY" (single or married) & regardless of your sexual orientation. We welcome ALL Ladies to meet other local women to do girlie things, explore different activities & just have fun! You should always make time to do "Girlie Things" (ME TIME!)

This group allows up all an opportunity to expand our circle of friends & meet some fabulous new girlfriends. Enjoy socializing, dinners, movies, girls night in/out, brunch, picnics, festivals, day/weekend trips, etc.. All your favorites & more..

SISTER-FRIENDS – Rules and Guidelines

·         We are a "DRAMA FREE" mature group of women trying to connect in friendship & sisterhood.

·         You must be between the ages of “29-35 years old” to become a member of this group, (the youngest we will except is 28). Also, a photo is requested before anyone is approved as a member of this group. (NO EXCEPTIONS) You will not be approved without one!

·         Once you are approved as a member, we ask that you send a brief "Member Introduction" that you would like to share with the group within 5 days of approval so that your other girlfriends can find out more about you & want to meet you. (I will send a follow up email if not received your member introduction) After the follow up email & still no response after a week, the organizer or assistant organizer can and will remove you from the group for not participating.

·         Please be respectful and ALWAYS RSVP, "YES", "NO", or even a "MAYBE". It let's the Organizers know you are still around and interested in this girlfriends group.

·         Any member who RSVP's "YES" for a meet-up more than 3x's and 'DOES NOT' show up, call, change their rsvp or contact the organizer or assistant organizer to make us aware of what's going on, so we won't be looking for you or guessing, WILL BE REMOVED!! ((unless it was an emergency))

·         Inactive Members are removed periodically. If you are inactive for a period of 1 month, an email will be sent. If after the email has been sent and still no contact, no replies, etc. You will be removed for non-participation and being inactive within the group. You are always welcome to come back later.

·         If there are NO RSVP's, there's NO event!

·         If we have and "OUTDOOR" event and it's raining/snowing outside - then it's canceled!!

·         Most of our events, you can bring husbands, boyfriends, fiances, significant others & are kid-friendly...but Ladies "ONLY" events will be marked as "LADIES ONLY" (no men & no kids. Girls Day or Night!)? Although, if you have no babysitter or your child is always with you, then they are welcome of course.

·         If there is only "ONE" member that RSVP'd for an event, there will not be a meet-up AT ALL! And it will be rescheduled when more members can join us.

·         Please use the message board to post ideas, suggestions, comments or to just socialize. That's how we get to know one another. Also, the mailing list is open for you to read more about members of the group.

·         Please reach out to our "NEW MEMBERS", welcome them to the group, get to know each other, communicate, etc.. Communication is the key to making this group work, keeping it interesting & wanting to meet-up again and again!

·         **NEW MEMBERS**: IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER AND YOU HAVE RSVP'd "NO" FOR EVERY EVENT SINCE YOU HAVE JOINED, FOR A PERIOD OF 2 MONTHS, NO PARTICIPATION WITHIN THE GROUP AND HAVE NOT ATTENDED "1" MEETUP SINCE JOINING, YOU WILL BE REMOVED!!

·         **REMINDER:RSVP - even if it's a "NO", this way we know you're still around. Also, if you find that you have changed your mind or a change of plans, update your RSVP in a timely manner so I can have an accurate head count and know to expect you or not.

·         Suggest activities that you're interested in and we'll get it added to the calendar and see if other members are also interested!

·         Lastly--This is YOUR group - be ACTIVE!
