Kick off the 2016 NASA Space Apps Challenge in Pasadena!

Details
Welcome to the 2016 NASA Space Apps Challenge Pasadena presented by Microsoft Azure!
This first meetup is for who everyone who is interested in participating in this year's NASA Space Apps Challenge event in Pasadena.
We'll start at the top and introduce the global NASA Space Apps Challenge and cover all the key info: what is it, when is it, where is it? We'll go through this year's challenges, discuss how/where to access NASA data for your solution, and give everyone a chance to connect with other participants, mentors, and sponsors so that you can be well prepared for the event in April.
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory will be on hand to speak and assist participants in evaluating, selecting, and preparing for challenges. One of last year's winning teams will share their Space Apps experience and give an update on their award-winning project, AstroGro. And Microsoft Azure will be on hand to discuss the technologies and resources that they're making available to Space Apps participants.
We're excited to be holding this first meetup at Supplyframe's so-new-it's-not-even-open-yet Hackaday Design Lab. Supplyframe will run down their plans for the new space - an incredible addition to Pasadena's hacking community.
Metro: Take the Gold Line to the Del Mar Station. Hackaday Design Lab is just around the corner!
Parking: Street parking is very limited, but the Del Mar Station parking garage (230 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105) is very close.
