Get your NPTech Resources!

You asked, we listened! You wanted resources and we've got'em.  Join us for a night of sharing among our peers!

As a hat tip to Ignite, folks will share in 5 minutes or less their favorite tool and how they are using it to do good. For it to work, we must hear from YOU! What’s your favorite tool? What’s working? What’s not?

You only have 5 minutes so come prepared and ready to share -- and you may just get a prize!

Here's a few folks who've volunteered to get us started and their tool:

  • Trish Perkins - Toogl
  • Rebecca Currie - Google Voice
  • Amber Neill Boaz - Last Pass/Xmarks
  • Jan W - Mailchimp and/or Google Grants
  • Mark H - to be decided
  • YOU -- send your response when you RSVP, if you'd like to volunteer!

A fun way to network, connect and inspire.

Pizza (sponsored by NTEN & PINInc/RTPNet) and discussion starting at 6:30, program at 7:00.

Many thanks to United Way Teaming for Technology for being our host for this meeting.

See you there!

Our host, Al Reynolds, told us that their meeting space is available for use by nonprofits, and that T4T volunteers refurbish 100s of computers donated by corporations and individuals, giving the computers to nonprofits and schools. I talked about the NCTech4Good Conference, showing the website and wiki, and I also described Jack Wang's calendar of Triangle tech events, Rebecca Currie told us how she uses Google Voice, Trish Perkins described using Toogl to keep track of her time and help with estimating time for future projects, and Mark H taught us Aiki hand shake -- starting off undefeated. Lots of fun and participation by all. Dale Chodorow won the copy of Amy Sample Ward's book "Social Change Any Time Every Where."

Reminder: This meeting is at Teaming for Technology
5151 McCrimmon Parkway, Suite 225, Morrisville, NC. Also, we're planing to have a drawing for a copy of Amy Sample Ward's book "Social Change Any Time Every Where," so bring business cards. It's always good to have them at our meetings anyhow.
