Football And Wings DoubleHeader: Redskins vs. NY Giants/ Cowboys vs. NY Jets

Details
Sept 11 is a solemn day in American History and this year will be no different as this will be 10th anniversary of the Sept 11 attacks.
NYSOM definetly looks forward to visiting the new 9/11 Memorial Museum and also the Freedom Tower when it is opened , we will spend this coming Sept 11 the good ol fashioned American Way:
Watching Football and Eating Chicken Wings!!

On Sunday September 11 , I'm going to put aside my personal differences with a certain pink haired woman and head to one of the most happening spots in NYC for football on Sundays : 1849
Sketch it:
Even if they’re partial to baseball caps instead of stovepipe hats, NYU students need a place to hoist beers in the presence of elk horns, goat heads, and taxidermied pheasants. Hence this Bleecker-strip watering hole covered floor to ceiling—and a very high ceiling, at that—in Wild West paraphernalia. Amid the saddles, wagon wheels, and prints of steam-powered locomotives, it’s easy to forgive modern anachronisms like the internet jukebox, since (let’s face it) most of the folks chomping wings and swilling Mike’s Hard Lemonade are too young to know what happened in 1949, much less a hundred years prior. Just look at the framed collection of fake IDs on the wall near your Victorian-style settee, and you’ll know that this history trove and drinking trough is the setting of many a lesson that’s all about “my first hangover
Check the website @ http://www.1849nyc.com/
1849 features All Day Happy Hours on Sunday including
1/2 price Well Drinks
1/2 price Beer
and the biggest reason we are going there, the INFAMOUS .20 CENT WING SPECIALS ALL DAY
My personal best @ this place is about 35 wings or so, lets see if you can top that
While we are gorging ourselves @ 1849 we will be enjoying the first full day of NFL Action of the 2011 season
Our highlight game of the day will be the Sunday Night Opener as we watch the team i despise most on Earth the Dallas Cowboys and that waste of a life they call a quaterback Tony Romo take on the hometown loudmouths Rex Ryan, Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets

Will the New York Jets finally make it over the hump and get to the Super Bowl this year?
Will Tony Romo choke and lose the game for his team as he has done so many times in the past?
Can anyone in NYSOM eat more than 35 wings?
These questions and more will be answered as we hang out @ 1849 for the first full day of the NFL season
BUT
Before we watch the Jets and Cowboys go @ it, we will see watch the other New York football team (and the last one to win a Super Bowl might i had) my beloved New York Football Giants as they open their season against the hated Washington Redskins
Will fatherhood make Eli Manning a better quaterback?
Can anyone name the Redskins starting quaterback?
Can anyone in NYSOM keep eating wings from this game until the next game?
We'll find out the answers to all these questions as NYSOM spends a WING filled football day @ 1849
Note * Though the start time is 3PM, I will most likely be there earlier because A)1849 gets crowed quick and B) The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing the Baltimore Ravens (thats a heated rivalry right there)
