Hometown: Winter Park
September 10, 2012
Born in Baltimore, I was a Colts fans when they were there. When they moved I was in a quandry. I was a Steelers fan with the Steel Curtain, then Cowboys, Oilers (with Bum and Earl), 49er's (closed a bar w John Taylor in Hawaii when he was there for the Pro Bowl), Buccaneers (when they had a few Noles helping make them respectable), Giants (with Phil Simms), Packers (Edgar Bennett and Brett Favre), Saints (Archie and Brees), Bears, Falcons (when Deion was there), Lions (Barry Sanders), Vikings, Cards (until they mistreated Bolden), Seattle (with Walter Jones as the premiere offensive tackle in NFL history) back to the Ravens with the move of the new team to the area and New Orleans and Packers. As you can see, I follow players more than the teams as there is so much change within the teams between the players, coaches and the administration. I'm back wanting to supporting the Bucs, the Pats and now the Jags.
My first game was when I coached 13 and 14 year olds in Nebraska, we took the boys to Kansas City to see the Chiefs play the Bears. While I lived in Hawaii, I was fortunate to go to a few Pro Bowls as well. Of course, I went to all the Florida State games when I attended there and several Hula Bowls, East West College games and University of Hawaii games also while living in Hawaii.
Partee' with others who love the game!
Camaraderie of others who love the NFL
I love my Grid Iron aka American Football. I moved back from Australia at the end of 2011. I played Semi-pro in Germany and Italy a "few" years ago. Read Playing for Pizza by John Grisham. It's fiction but based on a lot of truth.
Great event. Well hosted by Dennis. Good service by BWW. Dennis and I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed a nail biting game.
