Hello Fellow Xamarians!

First of all, I wanted to say that I'm excited to see a strong response to this group. I'm very new to the whole Xamarin world (about 2-3 months of experience), and I find the technology to be more impressive the more I immerse myself into it. That being said, it seems as if support is a little more difficult to come by on the web than for say C# development. I have found Xamarin's own documentation and forum to be very helpful, but I'd love to be able to interface directly with other professionals in the area who can provide great insight through experience and their own bumps and bruises (or scars as Richard Campbell would say).

For the first meetup, I think it would be really productive to simply have a meet and greet session, get to know each other a bit, agree on a best format and location(s) for future meetups, and decide what we'd like to accomplish as a group.

Let me know if Tuesday is a bit too short of notice, and if you'd like to see this pushed back to say Friday, or sometime the following week. If we do move to Friday then I will definitely change the venue because Egan's will be too noisy for sure.
