Help With Thanksgiving Dinner

Yo peeps who want's to help serve or deliver a meal on Thanksgiving this year?

My buddy John down at Jersey Shore Subs and Soups (https://www.facebook.com/keyport15) has been doing this every year and I thought this year I'd go help out and see if any of you want to help too. He said if we show up 1 hour before the first seating that would be good so lets plan to get there by noon. Meals are served at 1 and and 5, I don't know if I will stay for both but he said the 1pm one they need the most help. I have never done this before with his organization but I imagine just go inside and be ready to listen to directions on who's needed were and to do what. He also said that all volunteers get to eat too so don't worry about going hungry.

Also from now until then he is taking food donations for the meal. One thing in particular that many donate is if their local grocery store gives them a free turkey and they want to donate it. And cash also always works too! So to donate food just give John a call at 732-414-6363 He may need food cooked too. I am not much of a cook so I didn't ask about that but I do hope to earn a free turkey from shop rite to give him.

So those of you who don't have plans on Thanksgiving and want to do something to really help I sure hope you can come. We will be feeding the seniors, Sandy victims, and anyone who needs a hot meal.
