Beach Drumming Sandy Hook

It's time for another drumming event! I plan to go to this one but it's a good idea to sign up on their event link too just in case something comes up for me as it often does. But the weather should be warmer by this time and make for quite an enjoyable evening down the shore.... I am bringing my drum, bring yours if you have one but you can bring anything your have (rattles, tamborines etc) or you can dance if you want to! Or just sit there and soak it all in.....please read all of Casey's info as well below.

We will be meeting at Sandy Hook State Park for a beautiful fun filled day of drumming ,dancing and going CRAZZZZZYYY on the beach!

Location: Parking lot "E" park to the left by the building and showers,follow the sand path,we will be to the left of the walkway or sandway :)

This event is for all ages however it is suggested that children be over the age of 7 for safety reasons...delicate ear drums..Of course all children will need to be properly supervised by their parents....or....they might beEATEN for cuteness :)

So bring you Djembes,Doumbeks,Percussion instruments,hand drums,zills,scarves and beautiful selves to a day to remember of Love,light and Peace for all nations and all humanity..

Fee for this event is 7$ to cover park fees.
Since it is season the 15$ entrance fee is in effect til 5pm
thereforewe will be meeting at 5:30pm to avoid this fee :).

a chair,suntan lotion,water,a hat,a light jacket,a garbage bag for your garbage that you will be leaving with,swimsuits(for the truly bold) and something to share...Some suggestions are fruit,cheeses,chips,dips,last year I bought chicken wings,some brought pizza,so whatever you'd like to share is cool :)

If anyone has a small portable table that would rock too! I have a small 30" x 30" table but two would be better as it fills up with goodies quickly :) we are bountiful :)

Rules:We don't need no stinkin rules!
But environmentally
1)Everything you bring in,GOES OUT with you,so please bring a small garbage bag and take it home with you:)There are No garbage cans at the park.
2)Be mindful to the rules of the park,visit their website,STAY OFF OF THE DUNES....there are many nesting birds and we don't want to disrupt their homes :)
