Who wants to get on their bikes and ride? It doesn't matter if you have a beach cruiser like me or a fancy multi speed racing bike like the guy in Breaking Away. It also doesn't matter if you ride like a grandma on Sunday afternoon (again like me) or fast and furious like someone in a car chase! This event is meant for anyone and everyone to come and get out and get some exercise and see some nice scenery. Those who are faster or slower will just naturally fall in together and we can meet up together again at the end. If you do not have or want to bike and just want to walk you can do that also.
The plan is to meet near Ferry Landing , in front of the old Post Theater (its free to get into The Hook after 5pm) and then we can ride around for an hour or so, they have an awesome network of bike trails and also maybe we can do some exploring too and then head over to Moby's around 7:00pm to grab a bite at the counter and then sit up on the deck before heading home. Or you can just get ice cream or a cocktail if you don't want dinner.. Here is the link for Moby's http://www.mobyslobsterdeck.com/
I am going to put this as a recurring event, every other Sunday and hopefully it will give us all a nice habit to get into.
Hope to see YOU on a bike at The Hook! Love, Cassie
PS. If you do not own a bike and want to come Ray's bike rentals are open until 5:30 and he told me in the past that you can arrange a late drop off. check with them to confirm http://www.raysbikerentals.com (http://www.raysbikerentals.com/index.html)
if you can't make it, no need to post why. We understand and will catch you next time!
