Hello Everyone!
I fell in love with Gravity Vault after doing the Belaying Certification and would like others to take part in this fun place. The activity for Monday is really designed for people who know how to belay. This means you know how to operate the ropes while someone is climbing. If you would like to learn how to belay, there is info below on taking a Belay Certification Course that I recently attended this past Sunday. If everyone knows how to belay, this ensures there is an equal number of times someone can climb which means everyone can enjoy this activity. If you do not know how to belay, I cannot guarantee how often you will get to climb.

Gravity Vault has Buy One Get One Free Nights on Mondays. Passes are $18, or $9 each, and $7 for all the equipment rentals if you don't have them already. (chalk bag, shoes, and harness). When you arrive to the facility, you can pair up with someone to take part in the BOGO deal. The second person must be present at time of purchase. Feel free to use the comments section on this site to pair up with the second person.

Here are the details from their website regarding taking the belaying certification:

Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM. Cost of the class is $20 (For Ladies Only) and includes a day pass and rentals. The cost for men for this class is $35

Belay Certification Course

Course overview: After a general overview of the sport of climbing, students are taught how to put on a climbing harness, how to tie a figure-eight knot and a double fisherman backup knot and how to belay (the process of managing the ropes while your partner climbs).

The group will then start to climb together, actually running the ropes for each other, and encouraging one another. Belay Certification is an excellent way to get introduced to the growing sport of indoor climbing. All rental equipment is included in the price.
