Podcasts - Intro to Digital Photography - Macintosh Basics & More!

It's time again for another fun-filled and information-packed monthly meeting!

This month we will be featuring the following presentations:

Unless you've been hiding under a rock the past few years, you've probably heard the term "podcast" before. A podcast is a digital media format that consists of episodes of audio or video that you can subscribe to, stream, and download to your computer or mobile device. The Apple iTunes Store puts hundreds of thousands of podcasts at your fingertips. But with so many choices, how do you determine which ones are the best? Luckily you don't have to as Bruce Mittelman will give a rundown of the best and most popular Mac and technology podcasts currently available today.

Louis Perez returns with his ever-popular "Magical Mystery Tour of the Web" which focuses on important and interesting Web sites pertaining to a specific topic. This month's tour takes a look at Web sites to help you"Pick the Perfect Tablet for You".

Angelo Caminiti and Jerry Gherardi will be giving an"Intro to Digital Photography" showing you how you can use the camera built-in to you iPhone or iPad or a simple point-and-shoot camera to get that perfect shot.

And Jerry Glacken will give another installment of his"Macintosh Basics" series which focuses on assorted topics that every Mac user needs to know. This month Jerry will be talking about "Ports and Connectors" - from audio, video, networking, USB, firewire and more.

So come on out and join us for a great night of learning, meeting new people and having fun! Hope to see you there!
