Well it's the holiday season, and that can only mean one thing...It's time for our annual NJMUG holiday meeting and party where we eat, drink and learn about interesting technologies. And of course we'll be raffling off goodies for those of you who have been good little boys and girls this year!
This month we'll be featuring the following presentations:
Bruce Mittelman will be giving an overview of Apple's newest computer operating system, Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks. With over 200 new features, Mavericks adds new features and capabilities to everything from apps you use everyday to the technologies that power your Mac. All of which makes Mavericks the most advanced Mac operating system to date.
Our next presenter will be Bob Helmond who will be discussing Bitcoin and how it works. Bitcoin is a virtual cryptocurrency that uses peer-to-peer technology to facilitate instant payments and cryptography to make it difficult to counterfeit.
Our final presenter of the evening will be Louis Perez who will give another installment of the "Magical Mystery Tour of the Web" which provides a collection of interesting Web sites based around a particular topic. This month's "tour" will offer a year-end assortment of interesting websites for everyone.
So come on out and join us for a great night of fun, food, and learning. Happy Holidays to everyone!
