Sunday Morning Breakfast & Bowling – Parents and Kidz

Go to the front desk and ask for the “meetup group”. They are expecting us. I have reserved 4 lanes which should accommodate 20 bowlers. Tell them you want the “breakfast and bowling special.” You will pay $10, up front, for each bowler and you will receive a ticket and bowling shoes. Parents are welcome to bowl. They will tell you what lanes we are on. The ticket they give you is used in the restaurant to get breakfast. After you get the ticket go to the  restaurant first and order breakfast. Then come to the lanes, get set up and go back to pick up your order. Your choices for breakfast are French toast, pancakes or Eggs, potato and toast. All include a drink juice, milk or chocolate milk. Bowling ends by 12 sharp so I am asking everyone to be on time.

Like most parents going through the divorce process money can be tight. Many of us have our kids every other weekend and are looking for economical things to do with them. Well, the folks at Howell Lanes on Route 9 have a great deal on Sunday mornings, 3 games of bowling, shoes and breakfast for ONLY $10 per person. One great perk are the bumpers, these block the gutters in the lanes so the kids get pins every frame. They also have a rack the kids can put the ball on that has rails. So, if your child cannot lift a bowling ball, they can still bowl. Several parents and I have done this and decided to post a meetup, the kids just loved it. Hope to see you and your kids there.

The kids had a blast, the adults got to spend some time together, relaxing and talking while watching the kids. It was fun.
