Linda and I are so excited about seeing everyone on December 5th at 6:00 pm.  It has been a couple of weeks since we have all got together and we are so happy to finally get back on track with our regular meetup….As someone referred to me our “Cheer’s Group” and we are such a fun group.

I have Big News!!!! The Biggest News!!!!

Are you ready?

December 5th is my birthday  (ME MARTHA) and I have a birthday wish.

are you Ready?

okay here it is>>>>>>>>

I WANT YOUR HELP…..TO GET ALOT OF PRESENTS FOR THE KIDS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON THAT ARE SURVIVORS OF SANDY.  I HAVE THIS MEETUP AND OTHER THAT I WILL BE ASKING TO “HELP”. I think right now this could be a great thing for the kids to make them have a day that we could hand out presents and take their minds for a little while off what they have been through and a lot are still going through. I am talking with some people who belong to my local Elks Club and they have given me information on who can help get the toys and gifts distributed to the children.

These Kids have lost a lot. They deserve to be treated special right now from the trauma that they have all experienced losing their homes, watching their parents stressed out to the limit, not knowing what to do when they see their whole life style being changed before their eyes. They are to young to understand, they don’t know  where to go, or what will be in the future or even the feeling of helplessness. I myself personally have seen my son go through a rough time when my husband deserted both of us and left us where we wound up losing everything. This was so very traumatizing to my son and when I think of these babies and young children and even young teens going through losing everything it makes me sick inside. We all need to help in some way. I don't have much to give myself, but I can give a toy or gift card for $10 or perfume or sweater or something. SO....I am asking you” If you can” would you please bring with you to the Houlihans an unwrapped gift for children from the age of new born to 17 years old for a boy or a girl with a card signed with your name and anything other you might want to say like words of hope and encouragement. This is a good thing and I ask you all to help Linda and I do this for our NEW JERSEY KIDS that are Survivors of Sandy…. Let’s help them to not have broken hearts for the Holiday Season

BUT INSTEAD HAVE NEW MEMORIES THAT TEACHES OUR KIDS THAT EVEN FROM BAD COMES GOOD
