Work in NLP eventually came upon the construct of time and how we encode this into our minds and body. Experimenting in this area a wide range of powerful techniques developed.

The first day of our newest workshop is all about time. We’ll be working on a wide variety of things, including:

  • Future Pacing
  • Changing Personal History
  • Modifying Time Lines
  • Visual and Kinesthetic Time Lines
  • Time Lining a Project
  • Frames of Time (Short Term vs. Long Term)
  • And Much More

On day two we delve into combining the timeline material with the neurological levels and perceptual positions to explore the SOAR model created by Robert Dilts, also known as the Unified Field Theory of NLP and the NLP Jungle Gym.

Robert Dilts took the idea of the SOAR Model from computer programming to apply its concepts to NLP. With this he created an overarching framework in which to combine all elements and models of NLP.

Understanding this helps create a well rounded understanding of NLP as well as a well rounded NLP practice. Put into practice the SOAR model is perhaps the most powerful and effective model found in NLP.

Topics and techniques we’ll explore include:

  • How ALL NLP fits within this model
  • The Generative NLP Format
  • Conflict Resolution and Problem Solving with Perceptual Positions
  • SOAR Elicitation
  • Plus New Experiments…

It will be fun!
