Why: Cost of maintaining the group meetup board
Are you an "open minded" woman looking for a good discussion, great books to read, and fun in your book club? What about making friends? Do you care about social activism? Well then we are the club FOR YOU! Come join us as we discuss the book of the month! We read all kinds of books fiction to non-fiction, an eclectic mix of male and female authors from old paperbacks to the newest hardcovers. You'll read a different book every month. We choose our books now by vote done so in the "Polls" section every month. You will get to choose out of (3) possible choices our members pick and we will post three at a time. Meetings are HELD ONCE a MONTH on the LAST SUNDAY of the month in the afternoon. Meetings are scheduled a month in advance for planning purposes. Thanks and we look forward to meeting you! We are *OPEN* to new members. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE A PROFILE PICTURE TO JOIN US! If you try to join without one you will not be accepted as of October 1, 2009. Thank you for understanding.
