Call to Action

As you may recall, last month Travis county voters turned down two of four proposed AISD bonds that would have added almost one billion dollars in debt. This was a huge victory for "common sense" government and a first for Travis county in more than twenty years. Thanks to your engagement and the leadership of the Travis County Taxpayers Union and many other groups, this was made possible. This gives us great hope for the future of Austin and Travis county by deterring our nonsensical government and replacing it with common sense leadership.

Travis County Taxpayers Union has file a lawsuit against the district for "illegal ballot language" that may prevent the district from issuing the two bonds that did pass. Another potentially HUGE victory for ethical and common sense government. The City of Austin and AISD consistently spew out lies day in and day out that are seldom challenged. Well, now they are being challenged and we are asking you to support their efforts.
