UI Testing Workshop 💻

Details
Hi fellow Cocoa developers,
After running a poll (https://twitter.com/nsbudapest/status/705677717346377728) about what kind of workshops you might be interested in, we decided to organize all the topics you and we had come up with. The brave team who stood up for the challenge of hosting & mentoring at the first NSBudapest workshop is Supercharge (https://twitter.com/teamsupercharge). They are well-known for being a great team writing excellent quality code, frequently sharing their knowledge, and being eager to learn new stuff all the time. 💛
Grab your Macbook and let's meet up on the Saturday afternoon of April 2 for a few hours of learning the basics of how to write UI tests for your iOS apps. We will implement a simple demo app together and write some shiny UI tests with KIF (https://github.com/kif-framework/KIF) and Xcode's built-in UI testing (http://devstreaming.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2015/406o0doszwo8r15m/406/406_ui_testing_in_xcode.pdf). We will also mention some other solutions with examples.
Balazs Kovacs (https://www.meetup.com/NSBudapest/members/117718452/) will run the whole workshop explaining and live coding the exercises with you in Objective-C. I will follow him doing the same in Swift, in parallel. I know it sounds crazy, but it's for your freedom. We're really excited to see how this setup works out, this is gonna be our first time, too! 😁
Due to limitation of attendees (20, that we can handle), please only RSVP if you really want to come and learn UI testing together. This is an absolutely interactive event, and requires a lot of effort from the mentors to prepare for it.
Don't be sad if you miss it though, we have a lot more workshops ahead of us!
You can expect a lot of code, fun, snacks, and drinks at the event. Rumor has it, there's also a beer tap in the Supercharge office.. 🙊
